Our Programmes
Central Regional Basketball Foundation delivers a connected set of programmes designed to meet young people where they are, whether they’re picking up a basketball for the first time or looking to develop their skills in a more structured environment.
Our programmes are built as pathways, not one-offs, ensuring participants can grow, progress, and stay connected to the game over time.
What We Offer
Junior Jets | Register Here
An inclusive, fun introduction to basketball for younger players. Junior Jets focuses on participation, confidence, and enjoyment, creating positive first experiences that build a love for the game and a sense of belonging.
Academies & Development | Register Here
Structured programmes for boys and girls focused on skill development, game understanding, and positive habits. These environments support long-term athlete development while reinforcing teamwork, discipline, and confidence.
In-School Programmes | Register Here
Delivered directly in schools across the Central region, our Hoops in Schools / Kiwi Hoops programmes remove access barriers by providing coaches, equipment, and support. These sessions promote physical activity, wellbeing, and engagement, particularly in schools with limited access to sport.
Community & Holiday Programmes | Register Here
High-energy camps and community sessions that keep young people active, connected, and engaged outside of the school term. These programmes prioritise fun, safety, and inclusion while linking participants into ongoing pathways.
Our Pathway
CRBF delivers a connected basketball pathway that starts in schools and grows with the player, from first experiences and Junior Jets through to academies, development, and future opportunities. Along the way, we invest in coaches and community programmes to ensure every young person has the support to thrive on and off the court.
